How the matcher works
Each area carries our editorial rating for six things (lake, river, near town, trails, quiet, Atlanta side) on a four-step scale. Your choices weight those ratings; must-haves count first. The reasons shown under each area come from the county, TVA or the Forest Service and link to the area guide where they are sourced. The matcher runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
It cannot see a specific property. Two cabins on the same road can differ completely in driveway, view and septic. Use it to choose where to look, then use the checklist on each cabin.
